Overcome the limitations of conventional implantology with IPS® Preprosthetic.
By blending advanced 3D-printing technology with a simplified surgical approach, we empower surgeons to overcome the most challenging anatomical barriers.
IPS® Preprosthetic is the only FDA-cleared, remotely fixated, patient-specific subperiosteal implant system available on the market.
Our comprehensive product bundle provides surgeons with the exact patient-specific hardware and high-performance accessories required for functionally stable dental rehabilitation.
Navigate the 7-step surgical and prosthetic sequence, from virtual planning in IPS Gate® to final prosthetic restoration and long-term maintenance.

With the new IPS® Preprosthetic bundled approach, KLS Martin now provides every component required to restore patients with a final prosthesis.
Every implant is custom-designed using 3D laser-melting technology to match the patient's unique bone structure, eliminating the need for complex bone grafting.
Multi-vectorial screw placement ensures immediate, rigid fixation. This gives the surgeon confidence in the foundation and the patient a more secure-feeling restoration.
From initial scan to the IPS Gate® planning platform, the digital process reduces chair time for the patient and provides the surgeon with a predictable, pre-planned surgical roadmap.
By avoiding the need for extensive bone augmentation or sinus lifts, the procedure is less invasive, reducing the risk of complications and shortening overall treatment time.
The precision of the fit leads to less trauma at the surgical site, allowing patients to return to their daily lives and enjoy full dental function much sooner than traditional methods.
Manufactured from high-grade titanium, the IPS® system is designed for lifetime integration, providing a durable, bio-friendly solution that patients can rely on for decades.

IPS Gate® is a cloud-based, intuitive interface that allows you to upload CT/CBCT data (DICOM) and collaborate directly with KLS Martin engineers. You can review, modify, and approve the 3D surgical plan in a virtual environment before any hardware is fabricated.
To ensure sub-millimeter precision, a high-resolution CT or CBCT scan with a slice thickness of $\le 0.5 \text{ mm}$ is required. The scan must be performed with the patient in a stable “centric relation” and must include the entire anatomical area relevant to the reconstruction.
Stability is achieved through a combination of the custom-fit framework—which follows the patient’s unique cortical contours—and multi-vectorial screw placement. The CAD/CAM design allows for fixation in areas of higher bone density that are often inaccessible with traditional implants.
Once the final 3D design is approved by the surgeon in IPS Gate®, the laser-melting fabrication and sterilization process typically takes between 15 to 20 business days. This allows for a highly predictable surgical schedule.
The framework is fabricated from high-grade, medical-grade Titanium alloy (Ti-6Al-4V) using state-of-the-art 3D laser-melting technology. This ensures a lightweight, biocompatible structure with the high tensile strength required for long-term functional loading.
